Hello all! Ok, I have my website, working on a brochure and flier, and recently opened up my business page on facebook. Now what??? I am not sure what information I should be posting. I am still very new at this and slow moving (ugh!). No clients, as of yet, and I thought marketing through facebook could help me.
There is a post on this....but it could be buried.
Here are my suggestions:
Post what you do
Post informational tidbits that will help your target market
Post information that is helpful to others
Converse with your fans
Put your link for your FB Page EVERYWHERE (if you dont have 25 fans yet to get the vanity URL, use the application to get the Memorable Web address or use a shortner-bit.ly, ow.ly, etc)
HTH, again those are MY suggesstions.
On facebook you have to become friends with a lot of people before things start to pick up. I have a different approach in that I only put up business stuff once in a while, for the most part I am more personal. As said in many other threads, people want to work with YOU so you have to let them get to know you..... its about building relationships..
