HI,

Does anybody here know if you can post comments on other peoples pages as your fan page and not you personally? I have tried to figure this out and can't find a way. I would love to be able to post comments on business pages from my business rather than me personally.

It's so frustrating because when I comment, people always then come and try to friend me. I tactfully try to direct them to my fan page...and then I lose them! Out of the last 10 people, only one has actually become a fan of my page. Help! Any solutions to this?

No Kathy. You can only post comments form your personal profile unless it is a Fan page you administer. FB has not yet allowed Fan page to Fan Page Comments. But you can write something on your Pages status, and "Tag" the other Fan Page in the status comment that way.

One other things Kathy - if you are the admin for a fan page, you cannot post on that page's wall under your personal profile - it will always come up as the page profile. I admin several pages for clients, and wanted to go in and post some comments to get a conversation going, but it only comes up as admin. Occasionally I will add a comment and put my name at the end so people know I'm replying as me and not as the admin.

That is one of the downsides of Facebook and I wonder if this will be in their next set of fixes. Rebecca has a great solution, use the tag option.

If you don't know how to "tag" in Facebook, you simply type out what you want to say then when you get to the name you use the @ sign and start typing the pages name, if you are a fan of (or now if you "like") the page it will show up.

Ex: "I really like the post that @My Office Assistant had about how to collaborate on your Virtual Event".

And when you are done the @ sign will be gone and My Office Assistant will be in blue and will appear as a hyper link. But Lee will be able to see that on her page and can respond back.
