Could someone tell me how to get a custom address for my facebook fan page? I tried one application but didn't like the end result.

You need to have 25 fans before you can get a custom address. Send us a link to your site so we can all fan you and help you get to 25.

Thanks Pam,

I'm new to facebook fan page so I'm still trying to figure out how things work and how to effectively use the application to my benefit. I will start posting on my wall this week.

Here is the link to my page here if anyone wants to become a fan. I would love to be able to get that cutom address.

Also, if anyone can give me some tips things I should know or do with facebook, I would really appreciate it.

I am the same way, only have 3 fans so far

Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many pages each individual (profile) could be a fan of?

Jean,
You can make as many fan pages as you want there is no limit. Also, you can be a fan of as many pages as you want to be a fan of. I think I'm a fan of over 200 pages.

When you get 25 fans on your page, be sure to go http://www.facebook.com/username to choose your unique URL.

I'd recommend checking out the very comprehensive Facebook Guidebook from Mashable for all sorts of great info on using Facebook for business/marketing.

I would really like to have the unique URL, so I've added my Facebook Fan Page on the first sticky post of this thread (Social Media) for anyone who's interested to help me out getting to the 25 fans

I was just curious and clicked on the link to get the different FB url even though I don't have 25 fans yet. It went to a page that said you have to create a profile; didn't say anything about a business. Will it do differently once you have 25 fans?
