I was just reading this post about how Facebook now allows you to set up a free Business Page as a section of your Facebook profile. I don't personally have anything set up on Facebook right now, but thought I'd pass this along to those of you who do work with Facebook.

Sorry, I am not familiar with what Facebook is, can you help me out?

I'm not familiar with it personally, but have listened to webinars that say that is the place to be for networking yourself.

I have had a facebook profile and business page for a while. Personally, I have yet to get anything useful out of it. I have to admit though that I haven't spent a lot of time on it. When I first joined I spent some time trying to figure it out, but I just didn't like the feel of it.

If anybody has any tips on how to benefit from facebook, please share.

I have a personal page and definately now a Business Page for myself- I have a few fans I think it is a great way to market and you US girls- youll find there are a few VA groups there for you to join as well

Great tip ...I was wondering where and how to create a business profile, and that was the link I needed!

I've been trying to be a lot more active on Facebook. I attended one of Mari Smith's Facebook webinars and it was really helpful. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the most out of it though. I set up a business page in addition to my profile, but it's still a work in progress.

Thanks for the information, I've just started using Facebook.

I haven't started using any of the social networking sites but guess I will need to look into this going forward. I've browsed around myspace and learned enough about my grandkids to give them a rough time. They now have their profiles set to private to keep 'granny' out.

LOL. I know what you mean. My kids try to keep good ole' dad locked out too with private pages. They forgot that dad is an excellent researcher and knows the art of the flip-search and xray search all too well to keep him locked out too long!
