I just wanted to let everyone know of a great service out there. It's called Blitztime. You have 1-on-1 conversations with people over the phone! They are in 4-6 minute conversations and it's absolutely wonderful. I've made so many contact out there that you have to try it.

It is compeletly free to try! Some of the events you may pay a small fee of $5 but that's it. I've been doing it for about 2 weeks now and have made about 25 new contact!

If you can't get to a social networking event, try this out. I have included the link below to a Social Media Blitz that is happening tonight at 6:00pm. Hey...it's free, free to sign up, and free to try.

Interesting, I will continue to look at it further but are all the conversations in the evening? Thanks for the link though, always good to check out new avenues.

This sounds like a great networking avenue- thanks for sharing. Text communication can take on a misconstrued sense of emotion; so having that verbal communication of sharing ideas and concerns is wondering to have. Thanks again for sharing

I've signed up, but probably won't participate in any events until I get my website up and running. I want something to be able to send contacts to and really start marketing myself.

It sounds like a GREAT idea, especially for VAs to get a chance to share a bit about themselves and their services in a personal manner. There's a lot to be said about the voice, and it's easier to make a gut decision about a person when you hear them over the phone. Especially as a VA who is planning to offer phone services, letting potential clients know that I have a good phone voice is very important!

I just wanted to put it out there so everyone could participate. I often don't have the time to go to an actual live networking event. I've been active on the site and have networked with over 30 new people in three weeks!

If you do an event just remember to put my name down as a referral! (they just want to make sure users are talking them up. I don't get anything but at least they will know I put it out there).

I am going to see if I can get a "test drive" if anyone is interested in trying it out. Is there anyone out there that wants to give it a go? It of course will be free to attend. If there is enough interest, I'll set it up.
