Hey everyone, My hubby and I started a business last year and it is in my name as a Sole Proprietorship. We have an EIN under my name for it, etc. Now I am starting the VA business and when I went to the irs website it is stating each person only gets/needs ONE EIN even if they have multiple businesses. It states all businesses should be operated under the one EIN even if you have different DBA's. Am I understanding this right? __________________ -Becky Life is 10% what happens, 90% how you react.

Sounds right to me! A Sole Prop uses your SSI number so the EIN is attached to your soch.
