Default Filling versus not filling....
I didnt do much work last year. Maybe a few hours of billed work.

Was i suppose to pay any taxes or report anything? Will i get into any trouble for not filing? It wasnt even a fraction of overhead cost for a month, i did one project last year.

HELP!!

Hi Lisa,
I honestly don't know the 'right' answer to your question and I'm not an expert on taxes by any stretch of the imagination BUT I suggest that if you didn't at least wrap the income from that project into your personal income tax as 'other income' then yes, you are technically at fault, regardless of the amount.

I'd check with a CPA to be sure and to find out if there's something you need to do about it.

My understanding is that no matter how much you earn it has to be reported and paid on in some way, shape or form.
