I hope this is the correct place in the forum. Looking for productive feedback on a new service I am offering.

After long discussions with my husband trying to combine his skills with mine by offering them in my virtual assistant business he happened upon an audio editing position and it dawned on him - he has over 10 years experience with live recordings, studio recordings, digital mastering and audio engineering type services. This is all FOREIGN to me, however, he is an expert.

We are now offering Audio Editing for your podcast or web audio at a really, really competitive rate too, we also offer advice. SO you can consult with an audio engineering expert about what to do with your audio and advice on items he would change, edit, etc. Again, this topic is completely foreign to me, but he is truly an expert.

He no longer has his studio recording equipment or else we would be offering that as well.

What are your thoughts about this service? I have researched and found many sites that offer a combination of services to include audio editing with their normal marketing, social media and virtual services.

Sounds like a good service to offer. Will it be part of your virtual assistant services? Does it fit in with your overall target market and niche? As long as it doesn't just seem like a random add on service, then I'm sure it will be helpful to some folks. Seems like it might bring in more project clients that retainer clients but perhaps you could market it to podcasters who need on going assistance. It would be great if he could also combine it with video editing or screencasting because then you could offer more comprehensive services. Keep us posted.

I agree, if it's something your target could use go for it.

i think its a pretty good niche. Podcasting os pretty common and they ususally need to be edited i would just say maybe you can do a complete podcast and teleseminar service.

Im learning audacity right now.
