Default Adding Website Design To The List

So I am still in the brainstorming and planning stages of what I want to offer my clients. I am thinking of targeting to realtors and know that they all need a website. I do not have experience designing websites so do I add to my list of things and then just go to those websites with the templates and input all of the info for them and just charge them hourly?

Or would it be better to try and learn to actually design and learn all of that computer html stuff?

Most of the realtors I have worked with already had their own site and I merely helped to maintain it.

Not all sites offer templates either.

I wouldn't offer a service I wasn't good at doing. I would say I can maintain a website and then take the time to learn how to design sites on your own until you are sure it is something worth offering.

My husband and I do have a web design company and we steer clear of doing real estate sites. They require lots of work and access to the MLS. There are companies out there that specialize in this type of website. Now, you could offer to keep it updated, if you have knowledge of websites and the real estate industry. Personally, I think I'd steer clear.

This is why I love this forum! Great advice and will definitely not add to the list quite yet. I think I will just recommend someone to do that.
