Slows Pc a little it tends to let you know you have to restart for updates to take effect and a scan takes for ever! enough to go make a coffee ring someone, check the snail mail... come back and its still scanning.. totally annoying.. After subscription is up i think I'll be going to Trend Micro what I should of done originally but once I had that Trojan found at the pc repair shop I became a impulse buyer...

We had the same experience with Norton, but Trend Micro is also annoying - it has these irritating pop ups that are a pain in the neck. __________________ Julia

As a result, I switched to AVG and have not had a problem since.

AVG and Windows Defender are on all the time with updates/scans taking place at 2-3 am.
