I recently signed up for and having been using a resource called
PassPack which is a FREE online password manager.
It's very secure as you have to have not only a password to get into your account but a passkey and both are set by you and have to meet a certain strength. No one but you knows your passkey, so if you lose or forget it, then you are out of luck and have to start over.
It makes managing your logins and passwords easy. It also has a password generator that will help you generate passwords of greater strength.
They also offer a free offline version, plus you can export or import into or from your account online. They have a one-click login to your other accounts from your passpack account.
It can be used for storing any type of information (they advise against financial though) like frequent flyer numbers, registration info, travel info. You can add tags for easy searching and sorting.
If you have it open on your computer and it's been inactive for a certain amount of time then it will lock up and you'll have to re-enter your pass info to gain access again.
This is great for anyone who has many logins and passwords and would like quick, easy and available access.
If anyone else has used it, I'd love to hear about your experiences with it as well.
