By default when an new installation of WordPress is set up, often using one of the convenient 1-click installs the default username is always set to Admin. My personal recommendation? If you are setting up the site yourself always choose a username different than Admin and if you are having someone set up your WordPress site request that they use something other than Admin as the default username. Doing this adds an extra security element that makes it more difficult of a hacker to break into your site....
