Hi Julia
Do you mean you want to sell links on your webspace? (This is what 'sponsored links' refers to)

In terms of SEO - what you actually want is to try to get the radio stations and DJs, etc. to link back *to your site* from theirs.

As soon as I understand which you're referring to I'll post back

I wouldn't actaully advise selling links on your site for a few reasons - and truthfully, unless you have a ton of traffic there isn't a lot of incentive for someone to purchase space. However, you *might* be able to 'trade' links with other VA sites, or with companies whose products/services you use (you promote them/they promote you) and that's really as simple as asking

As to SEO - check the previous posts in that section, there's a lot of good basic information about linkbuilding and how it can help increase your search results. In the industry directory you'll find a section of directories where you can submit your link for listing as well.

Hope that helps!

You could also do some affiliate marketing on your site if you want to make some extra money. You might sell VA books or Quickbooks or something like that on your site. Just google Afflilate Marketing and see what you come up with.

I'm not really all that familiar with it YET so if someone else thinks I'm giving wrong info (TESS) please jump in and say so!

LOL - no you're totally right Shari - you could definitely make some money with an affiliate marketing setup, and there are numerous VAs who have affiliate programs where you can sell their books or programs - I would just suggest to be certain that whatever you advertise on your site jives well with your company philosophy and reflects well on you in all respects (in other words - advertise things that are relative to your business and that you are familiar with.)
