Yvonne, not that your URL isn't a fine example to work with - but for the sake of sticking with our little theme here, I'll post back later on today with an analysis of a VA site to help give you an idea of what you're looking for.

But, the quick and easy is to check how the pages are listed in the results themselves - are the titles understandable? Do they make sense? Do they have good keyword representation? Are the descriptions beneath that thorough, complete sentences that don't get cut off and provide solid info about what the page is meant to convey? Etc.

Tess, I understand - I kinda figured that and it make sense....I prefer VA anyways because my other URL - there is no competition to it, well very little. But VA there is TONS of it so I'll need to know everything to make sure my VA website is running effectively :0)

Would you mind terribly if you deleted my post containing my URL please?

Thank you :0)

opps . I did exactly the same thing. Was leaving out "site" and have indexed all pages. Think I can "un"- index a few of them.

I'm surprised that my homepage is indexed already, I just just registered a few days ago. But I don't like the description that is coming up. I thought that the detailed description I put on the page alternate title would be in the details of the search but instead it has the name of the photo on my home page and something about a hit counter, urgh.

I would like to add http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ which provides you both inward and outbound links.

LOL
I thought the same thing...it is nice to know that there are a gazillion backlinks, etc. *but* this tool appears to count multiple pages on the same site, which is great, but not necessarily an accurate view of how much 'weight' the search engines assign the same links.

Either way though, a neat application!
