Default How to Keyword Properly for Press Releases and Website
This may have already been a thread but I cannot find.

How do I keyword appropriately for a press release?

How do I keyword appropriately for a website?

A client has asked me to do both and I'm sure I can do it but I'm wondering what I should do first.

Thanks,
Jan

try using the press release grader at www.pressreleasegrader.com. After you put in some info then it will tell you using keywords.

For either the press release or the website you want to use keywords so that they fit in naturally with the context of what's being written.

If you look over some of the free press release sites, you can glean quite a bit of information about how to do it.

Keywords for websites has a bit more procedure to it and it depends on a number of variables. I would look over the SEO section of the forums for more information about that.

I'd suggest reading through this very section for tips on how to optimize your client's site - it's a science in and of itself and may best be referred to an experienced SEOptimizer if your client is looking for real results in moving the site up in Google's search results. You'll find good basic info right here though

Thank you! I'll search some more here. I've also pulled some books from the library. The client hasn't brought this task up to me again but I'm using this 'quiet' time to see if I can at least make some suggestions, although I won't say I can do something if I cannot!
