Default Is a training course all that's required to become a RE VA?
Or do you need past experience in the RE field?

It's been said in this forum many times that you you really should have a background in real estate to be a REVA. Whatever your chosen niche is, you should be an expert in it and charge accordingly.

If you don't have the experience but still really want to be a REVA, then yes, take some training courses, subcontract or intern for other REVA's and really put in the effort to learn the business from all angles and open up your own shop when you feel confident about your abilities.

Can you recommend any online training course?

A google search will turn up some results for you, but you should start with something like http://www.ureatc.com/.

Every REVA that I know that is successful has a full understanding of everything in that course, with the exception of Transaction Management - which is a specialty in itself.
