Staying organized....
Is there a sofware out there that anyone would recommend to help keep me organized that isn't to costly(just getting started)? I'm looking for something that is "all in one" I want it to keep me organzied with each of my clients and their clients, plus keep time tracking, invoicing and maybe even one where each of MY clients can have a login to keep up to date with what's on with his/her file and maybe even let them add on to what they have done so we can all stay on the same page with one another?

Would LOVE some advise

Hi Tricia, you might want to check out the Work at Home Resources section of VAF - look for the Project Management forum, you should find conversations and reviews for various PM options. There are quite a few services that include time tracking and invoicing as well.

Hope that helps a bit!

It did help THANKS; looks like a good one to use is MyIntervals. Found out some more good ideas that using dropbox and LogMeIn may help me run MORE efficiently...

Tess what is your advise on which Web Hosting to use and where to find a good logo? I had someone working on this for me but, it's been a month and she still hasn't showed my anything she has been working on for me so I thinking I can maybe take it in my own hands and give it a try.

Thanks again!!

Hi Tricia, I'd recommend posting your other questions to the appropriate forums - you'll get more replies and will get specific answers to your questions. I'd be glad to offer my two cents when I see your posts pop up in Hosting and Domains and Branding...

Hi Tricia,
I haven't quite found the holy grail or all-in-one solution, but there are a few things to help. Problem is, you have to keep things simple because I have found that if agents have to spend too much time learning to use your project manager system, they will not use it.

Using Dropbox is a must for me. It's easy for clients to use (especially the non-tech-savvy) and it is the main place that files and property photos can be easily shared between clients and my team.

If you want to go the online project manager route, there are lots to choose from (Basecamp, ClientSpot, Central Desktop to name a few). But again, I have found that many agents do not want to have to learn how to use one more thing. A lot of times tasks and reminders for your agent clients can be managed in their own CRM like Top Producer, WiseAgent, eEdge, etc. But if they do not have a CRM, than a project manager like mentioned above can help.

Megan~ YOU ARE AWESOME!!! All in one, would be to good to be true!! Yeah I could see agents not wanting to learn another program, never thought of that and here I am trying to think of ways to make it easy. BUT...I need to keep myself organized with each agent and each of their clients and timing tasks. I have a feeling that in my area I'm going to be working with multiple agents at first. Ugh....reasearching so much is starting to take a toll on me, I think Saturday I was up till 4 in the morning

Megan~HUGE THANKS TO YOU!!! I wish I could come watch you for one day lol

Tricia,

myIntervals is a great choice. It is what I use and it is wonderful. It does everything I need. I partner it with PayPal invoicing to bill my clients.

As for a webhosting company I would recommend: WebHostingHub(http://www.webhostinghub.com/) or myHosting(http://myhosting.com/). myhosting is nice, but you do not get unlimited databases and email address like you do with WebHostingHub. If you need a windows platform I would go with myHosting, if a traditional Linux will be sufficient then I would go with WebHostingHub.

Best of Luck,
Julie

Tricia,

My Intervals is AWESOME. I stopped using it last month because I needed some additional features that they didn't offer, but it was an amazing tool for use with my team.

Like Megan said, drop box is a must have for REVA's but there isn't an ALL-IN-ONE Holy Grail - yet.
