Default REVA insight
Hi all,

I hope I have posted this in the right place. I have an inquiry that you may be able to help me with. My niche client isn't the Real Estate Agent; however, this real estate agent can possibly provide me with the access/inside track to my ideal client. My question is, how can I make it worth this agent's time to think about forming some kind of strategic alliance with me? The agent is a veteran in the industry and she handles homes on both ends of the money ruler. I want her to get to know me, what I offer, and what I can do so that she will feel comfortable referring me out to her home-buyers/sellers.

I posted in this group b/c you guys are most familiar with Real Estate agents and possibly what interests them the most.

Can you offer me any suggestions?

Agents love to get referrals. The problem is that all too often service professionals promise to send referrals and don't because they already send their referrals to someone else. If you can provide this agent with referrals then you will get her attention. She will see the value in forming a strategic alliance with you.
As far as her getting to know her, I would say to put her on your newsletter list, add her to your social media, and include her in any of your marketing endeavors. Also if you have free tips or tools to offer, provide those to her too. She will need to see what your business practice looks like in action. She will need to see the value of what you do and how it will benefit her.

Getting in front of realtors can be challenging only because they are bombarded by people wanting referrals from them. Realtors are SOLD to all the time. By changing tactics and offering assistance or a referral for them, you can end up getting their attention.
Just don't walk up and put your hand out. Be humble and helpful. Good luck.
