Default NAR - REPA Certificate
Has anyone taken this course through NAR and obtained their REPA certificate? I'm thinking of doing so but it is $249 which I can swing but I want to make sure it is worth it. I think it will help me professionally. I am a licensed agent but passed the exam 5 years ago and lack the experience so I am thinking this may give me a refresher.

Hope someone can help!

Thanks,
Lori

Hi Lori,

I took the REPA certification and I found it very helpful in learning how a real estate sales person can use an assistant, some of the things that would help me to market to realtors. Hope this helps!

So what did you decide to do about the training? Did you take it? If so, how did you like it?

No, I have not taken it. I spoke with someone who told me that it wasn't necessary since I already have the real estate license. I think what I should focus on is the actual training of the procedures and software. I'm working on that now!

That is what I'm thinking at this point in time but I may change my mind. I have a meeting with a realtor on Tuesday so I'll see what he is looking for as far as services and go from there.

Lori,

That was going to be my suggestion. You already have a license so you already know what needs to happen on a Realtor's end, you may want to focus on the tools to make it happen.

Good luck.

Thanks Tamika! I have a meeting with a realtor tomorrow so I'll see how that goes and then go from there as far as learning the techniques and tools to get the work done.
