My local real estate board suggested that I could get one from the legal department at the state level here in Indiana. Maybe you could do the same in Idaho.

Thank you for this information, now I have it in black and white on what I can and can't do for a perspective client. Once I have completed school for for a few classes I'm in I would like to take some real estate classes and obtain a license.

That is a very wise decision on your part. If you obtain a real estate license, you'll be able to do more to help your clients.

I have a RE client in Arkansas and the tasks that I can do for him are not listed in the link here so I contacted the real estate board for that state and I get this very legalese-written docoment that just tells me what I can't do. Very difficult to interpret.
