I would agree, you can't live with it or without, similar to posting listings for our agents, it has become a neccesity, but it is a pain at how long the posting stays on the top.

Hello everyone, I recently posted to craiglist and I found out that it was helpful. I did get a few calls that was scammer, but just recently a company contacted me and they were actually looking for a VA. We signed the contract last week and so far it seems to be working out well. I will continue posting on Craiglist. Just have to weed out the scammers. It's worth it.

Craigslist is a great resource for many things. I recently sold a truck on there and received 42 calls within an hour!!! Yikes!!! I couldn't believe it... my phone would not stop ringing.

With regards to jobs, I have applied for MANY but no one ever seems to get back to me... :-( and I have even placed an ad on there for my area. I believe you can only place an ad for one area, is that correct? I haven't received any calls from that ad either... :-( but I know it all takes time ... and I am doing everything I can to find clients :-)

Well, I'm going to try it and see what comes from it...I always get some feedback by posting, good or bad, I get responses, so it's just a matter of sorting through the crap to find the gold I suppose.

I will keep you updated on how it goes...giving it a try today!

I have had good and bad also. If you have the patient to sift throught the scams your good.

I've posted on Craigslist and so far just Scams so it hasn't worked for me yet, but I think given what I've read I might continue to post a few times per week.

I haven't had any luck with Craigslist, everything seems to be a scam. I can't even list personal items for sale without getting 20+ scam emails.
