Default Im SOO NEW
My RE is with re-max, doesn't their site have some kind of database built in for them? Would it be too much to ask my client (also a friend, but wanting to keep a business relationship) for their sign in info? Or can my client give me access? -She knows shes my 1st client.

I'm getting ready to send her my "new client welcome kit" so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If she wants you to do work on her behalf you need her sign-in.

Hi Julie,
I've work with a lot of RE/MAX agents and they don't really have a good database system built in for them from RE/MAX itself. They do have Mainstreet, which is like the central intranet site for all RE/MAX companies that provides a few marketing tools, education tools and such. It includes a light lead manager that captures leads through the main website, but it is NOTHING special at all. Most agents don't like it and hardly use it.

Most agents that work for franchises like this, have to purchase their own database manager (like Top Producer, WiseAgent, etc) or pay their broker extra for them to provide something like that for them.

And Lily above is right. If you need to use anything on the client's behalf, you will need their logins for it. In fact, I recommend you make yourself a template for your business where you keep each of their logins together, because there may be a dozen or more things you need to get into for them.

Thank you so much for your input, would you mind if I add you to my contacts? She is using "Leadstreet" have you worked with that?

I concur that the RE/Max agents I have worked with, really don't care for that database and use another instead.

I also wanted to chime in to state how important it is to get those logins from your clients first thing, before you get started on much else. If they aren't willing to give you logins, they aren't going to do very well with a VA lol

I have been working for my agent for a week now. Things are going well and I learning my way around their sites. So far so good.
