Re: Do I need the REVA training?
Hi Mandy,
In my honest assessment I would say that with your experience in the industry, some REVA training programs aren't necessary for you. If you feel you have a good grasp on the real estate skills that Realtors need help on, then you are already ahead of the game. You have to assess what they each have to offer, but getting training on things you already know would obviously be a waste or time and money for you.
However, you might want to look into finding info or training on VA business start-up and marketing of your business. You see, though you may have the real estate skills to do the client work, starting a VA business is a whole different ballgame and mindset. You now become a business owner, so in addition to the real estate know-how, you will need to know how to set up your business properly, set up systems, and know how to market to agents. I had a very similar background to yours with the real estate experience before I started my company and found there was still a lot to learn in the business start-up arena, and how to find agent clients.
Also, there may be some specific skills in real estate that you are not familiar with and so when it comes to real estate training, look for the programs that have something new for you to learn.
Hope that helps! And good luck on your business start-up! I know it's an exciting time.
