Hello everyone...I'm a newbie...I have a friend who is going to patronize my VA business but I don't know exactly how to charge her...I charge $15 an hour, I worked two hours...I designed a logo for her in my services...the fee for graphic design is $50 and hour...do I charge her $30 for service plus $100 for graphic desgin???HELP!!!...oh did I forget PLEASE...
Hi If you charge $50 per hour for graphic design and the logo took two hours then the cost of the logo is $100. If you did additional admin work (other than graphic design) then it would be $15 per plus the logo.
But I'd make sure that your client (friend ) understood that she was contracting for graphic design (at the higher rate). Being clear with your clients on what they're paying for before you start on the project/service is important to avoid misunderstanding later.

I did in fact give her a project quote with a breakdown of each of the services...their base amount...and the amount for the time period...but I've overcharged...I need to only charge the graphic design charge...thanks again
