Default What Am I Worth?
Being new to the profession of VA, I sometimes wonder the best way to charge potential clients. I don't know the "standard" for certain services. Are there any "best practices" or thoughts on this. I've seen where some companies will post what they are looking for and their price, but what about the company that I've marketed to who may want to use my services?

Full Charge Bookkeeping
PowerPoint Presentations
AutoCad
GIS-Mapping & Demographic Studies
Software Training/Computer Upgrades
Marketing Materials - Brochures, Event Documentation, etc.

Thanks.

I don't know if people are allowed to post their charges on here, but a good clue is to go through the VA websites that show their prices online. Go to the VA directory and all the websites and check it out.

Found this in an old thread http://freelanceswitch.com/rates/
You may also want to search the old threads to see what has already been discussed here on the forum...I'm sure its been covered somewhere.

I just noticed that charges for VA work is not actually standardized. If you are not from the US. Your charge is relatively low, like 50% lower than the rest.

I've been wondering about that too. I've compared several websites of different VA's. Thanks for the link to the calculator and the blog.
