I think it's a personal choice for whatever works best for your tracking system. Most clients I've run across are fine with either one and I haven't really had anyone ask specifically about it. I believe that if I had a client that was really hung up on whether I billed by the minute or in 15 min increments, then they might not be the client for me. I do track by the minute for the work I do so I have that information on hand to send to a client with their invoice or if they ask how much time has been used. Most are pleased to get the report so that they know I'm not only tracking the time but they have a breakdown of how much time was spent on which task. __________________ Kimberly Facebook Marketing Magic!

Just to be awkward, I'm somewhere in between! On my invoice, I'll put the task and the exact time to the minute that was spent on it. If it was 5 mins, I generally just waive the charge; 5-20 mins gets charged at 1/4 hour rate; 20-35 gets charged at ½ hour rate; 35-50 gets charged at 3/4 hour rate and so on....
