I have a client interested in having me manage her company's Facebook fan page and Twitter account. It would consist of posting updates, related news stories, moderating the FB page, etc. My problem is I have no idea what to charge for this. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
Do some competitive analysis of others providing the services. We cannot talk rates here and most are based on experience, knowledge and overhead. Look at your competitors and how your experience matches theirs and choose a rate you are comfortable with. Note to you, do not lowball yourself to get or keep a job, charge what you are worth.
It also depends on the client - what exactly do they want you to post? How can you effectively post information about their business? Will you need some training about their business or will you need to do research? That's time and time is money....
