Default Fair Pricing for Answering Service? Please help :)
So i received my 1st inquitry today! YAY!!!!!!
The client is looking for an answeing service to take calls, give quotes and appointment setting.

Here's what i have come up with so far:
Charge X amount of dollars for X amount of calls per month.

But then what do i charge for the additional services, quoting and appointment setting?

Should it be a flat fee? or a per appointment. per quote? and how much is a fair price??

Im stuck, lol, any help would be appreciated..

I have a client that I do that for...I just charge my per hour charge. I feel it that is the easiest to do with him due to not knowing how many calls he will get a month and then being on a budget, having to remind him of his hours being up, him worried about not getting calls due to retainer of so many hours per month...he is one of my per hour clients.

I do this for several clients as well and I charge my hourly rate. The time I spend on the tasks is what they are billed for.

I don't do this task but I would suggest charging the hourly fee as suggested here. It could get very complicated charging different rates for different tasks and you may end up spending alot of non-billable time sorting that through.

As of right now, I charge an hourly rate for my clients. I'm doing pretty much the same type of work for them, so it makes it easier on me. However, if I take on a once a month or so client, I think I will be charging per project.

I struggled with this at first, too Be careful to structure your rate around the time it will take you to "zone in" and "zone out"
