Default Answering Calls for Client
My client's calls are being forwarded to my cell. I am charging time to answer the calls. She mentioned she would like to pay for that part of my cell bill as well.
I get $.40 charged for going over my minutes. Is that a good rate to charge per minute her for answering the calls in addition to my time? I am not charging her for the phone time for the impromptu conference calls we have.

Thank you = )

I consider that an ancillary fee which I charge my clients cost and no mark-up, so if that is what you are billed by the provider then that is a fair charge.

As for the impromptu conference calls, are they any great length? If so I would consider billing those too. For me this is a consultation unless it is specific to a new project or if there is a problem on a project.

Im not charging her the long conference calls, I use my land line for that. When you dial her #, her patients are prompted to press 2 for myself. I was thinking of charging her for those in addition to my hourly fee.
