Default Work request forms
Just curious if anyone uses a work request form for the client to fill out and return. Also, how do you send work back? Do you put it in a special dropbox file or email with an attachment? Do you keep a spreadsheet of work in/out? My client is getting confused with the emails (as it is a lot of volume) as to what work I/he has processed. I need to somehow organize him. Any thoughts?

I do not use a form but do use a project management system. My client can assign tasks to the project along with corresponding files and messages. I can then update the status, let them know if I am waiting on something or attach the finish project if needed.

There are a few good ones out there and many threads on project management here.

Yes, Lee is absolutely right. I use freshbooks as I have only few clients. I can manage projects, track time and also my client can see the project, logged in hours. Everything is transparent. There are other project management applications, you might want to have a look at. Just browse them in the same section.

Good luck!
