Just wondering how you fulfill this service. I come from the Corporate environment where everyone is networked.....but with our remote services, are you able to connect into your clients calendars....ie pc anywhere or something like that?
Or do you just email them their appointments, and they update their Calendar themselves??

Any info would be appreciated!!!

I presently only have one client that I schedule for. I have a history with this client and they have provided a RAS token so that I am able to access their account over the web and update their information.

I know that I will have the same query if I come across a client that does not have this service available.

I know that this is a slight change of subject but can you explain to me exactly what the RAS Client Tool is/does? I have this tool on my desktop but the only thing that I use it for is to send our accountant a review copy of our QuickBooks file. I didn't know that you can use it for other things as well.

Don't know the answer to your question, Stephanie, but Jessica, there are many ways you can share a calendar with a client. Start with Google calendars (go to Google home page, click on 'More,' click 'Calendar') and you can share that format with any other email you designate. You can also access a client's desktop through various programs - GoToMyPC, Syncplicity, etc. Or just do a search for shared calendars. You can use a content sharing tool like BaseCamp. Depending on the situation and what you want to do, I believe you have many options.

Great. This is exactly what I needed also. I have a new client that would also like for me to do scheduling. Thanks for the info!

I created and use Google Calendar for my retainer client. It allows her to send me her appointments and I input them on the calendar. My client likes having it on her website, especially for upcoming conferences and speaker events.

Does your client send you his / her appointments via email to update to the Google calendar or can he / she sync the appointments directly from their respective Outlook calendar to the Google calendar?

I've found Google Calendar to be a godsend.. i just update and my client can sync and update from their side too. I'm so glad I discovered it.
