Default What type of calendar do you use?
Hello. I have noticed that a lot of you use Google Calendar. Is anyone familiar with Yahoo's calendar? This is what I use currently, but I want to know if I need to switch. Thanks for your input.

I like Google Calendar and Windows Live Calendar, but if you're looking for a desktop calendar, and sometimes I need one, Efficient Calendar works for me.

I use Yahoo as well. I know it does sync with Google's calendar perfectly.

I use Google calendar since it syncs with my Droid as well as my Tungle.me calendar.

I've been using Airset.com for at least the 3 years. You can create a account for each customer.

I'm a heavy Google user and use Google apps which includes Google Calendar, but I think you should use whatever works for you. If you like Yahoo Calendar and it does the job for you then in my opinion there's not need to think about changing.

I agree with Renee, use whatever works best for you.

I'm a big fan of Tungleme, which syncs with both my Outlook and Google calendars. It seems to me that Google and Gmail offer so many useful apps and are adding more all the time, in addition to Google docs and Gtalk, it seems a natural to use one service that offers so much.

Cheers!

Like Michele I use Tungle.me and have since got a number of clients on it. None of my clients are interested in having to leave Outlook or iCal to book an appointment - Tungle.me runs in the background and syncs every 15 minutes or so. This allows me to access current client calendars to book appointments on their behalf and allows their other contractors to schedule team meetings etc..

So far, I've had a 100% happy rate.

I'm having trouble syncing my iphone calendar to Tungle. I click on the icon for iCal, to sync with Tungle, but the next screen still shows "no calendar synced". Can someone help walk me through the steps? I'm afraid to recommend Tungle to a client until I know it will work well with the iphone calendar. Thank you!

I use Google for many reasons. It syncs with my outlook, my droid, my iPad, and I used tungle.me on my website it also syncs well with that. Many of my clients that I manage their calendars for also use it and this allows them to give me administrative access without giving me their username and password. So it's a win, win, win all the way around. And someone said something about the apps and using something that has so many benefits and features all in one place. I agree with that as well.

But I also agree that if you are comfortable with using Yahoo and it serves your needs then by all means use Yahoo.

Best to you,
Rhonda
