ACE, which would be other, has a lot of features that I like. I have to admit that I don't like that it's not as simple as some of the other programs out there, and while the bells and whistles are nice features to have, I'm afraid it might frustrate some. I'm only throwing it out there as I found it on this forum and it is a free project management system.

Hi,
I tried Ace Project and found it very confusing too. I think it is functional, but needs some user process improvements.

I have been using Producteev to manage my task list. It is free for up to two users per workspace. And I believe you can have an unlimited number of workspaces. Since I have only one subcontractor right now, it is perfect. I can forward emails from my clients to a Producteev email address which converts the email to a task.

I am planning to expand in not too distant future so I may need to explore other options but Producteev is upgradable to allow additional users.

I am using officezilla.com (other), but was just notified that it will be shut down in a couple of months. It was free and pretty easy to use. Now I am shopping for new software. I've looked at AceProject, but I agree with Leazell and Janet - not very easy to follow. I'm checking out the other options mentioned here and look forward to seeing the poll results!

Hi Alise. Thank you for posting this poll! There are some very interesting comments here but I am curious as to what replies made up the "other" category. Can you provide stats on that please? I am in the process of choosing a PM application and this info would be very helpful.
Thanks so much.
Carol

To summarize what people have posted so far for "Other":
  • myintervals.com
  • Mavenlink
  • hand-written notes
  • clockingit.com
  • ACE
  • Producteev
  • officezilla.com
Based on the results so far, there doesn't seem to be a clear favorite project management tool. We need more VA's to respond to the poll!

How do YOU keep up with all of your projects and tasks? We want to know!

Thanks so much Alise. I've looked at a few and so far I believe I prefer either Basecamp or MyClientSpot. For now I'm just using Google calendar, but pretty soon I'll need to move myself and a client to a PM application. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out. Thanks again.

We use My Intervals - it does billing, time tracking and project management. All in one solution!

I use ManyMoon. With my array of clients and associates, it seems to have the easiest functionality. I love it!
