Default Transferring files from PC to Mac....
I am not real sure where to post this but I am in need of some answers pretty quick. I have a potential client that needs some bookkeeping for a new start-up. Bookeeping... not a problem. He has a Mac and I have a PC....possible problem?? My question is how do I go about synching Quickbooks with him (or can i even do that)? I have never used a Mac. Can he and I use Quickbooks online?? Help!!

Thanks in advance!

Melissa,

You can use a file from MAC to PC by using the backup function of the file (File > Back Up to QuickBooks for Windows, choose a name and location for the file, and then click Save.) However I do not believe that you can work online between the two. I could be wrong however so you may want to check out the communities and experts as Intuit.com.

Hey Lee! Thanks for your response. My client has a Mac with Quickbooks on it so I guess the best way will be for me to use GoToMyPC or use Quickbooks Online (which the client has also). Thank you so much for your help.
