I do use Outlook for certain things. I love the tasks feature, which you can categorize by color and use reminders.

If you have outlook 2010, you can download Business contact manager. You can do so many things with this program. You can manage projects and marketing activities etc. Its free. I am just learning how to use it but so far I am impressed!

Thanks Ladies

I was looking for a project management feature and found that Outlook 2010 had that option with the Business Contact Manager. I have the BCM now with Outlook 2007 and was contemplating whether I should upgrade. Cindy, you just gave me the push to go ahead and try the trial version. Thanks!

I am downloading the 60 day trial for the full version now. I currenly have 2007, but I suppose it's time to upgrade. I know that in my previous job, I used Outlook to track EVERYTHING. The task list with reminders was indespensible to me and my process flow. I am looking forward to seeing the new features!

I just recently upgraded to 2010 with BCM. I love it! I use the contact manager, but I am still new to it and learning it. So far so good!

I'm not sure about any Project Management with Outlook 2010-- I do know of SharePoint. I've heard that before. It may be something worth checking into. I already use Outlook for my calendar/scheduling and emails.

Hi, I wanted to know: What is BCM?

Is this a feature or some kind of software...

BCM is Business Contact Manager in MS Outlook. It is used to manage your contacts, your projects, your email blasts, etc.
