Default kobrowse - web-based co-browsing facility
As is usually the case, I found this cool web-based app while looking for something else entirely, but wanted to share it here.

Looks like it's in beta, but could still be a neat tool for your virtual collaboration arsenal. It's called kobrowse, check it out here.

Here's what they say about the tool: It is like sharing a web browser. You and your friends view the same webpage. While browsing, you can highlight text, chat and take notes using our collaborative word processor. View your favorite websites just like you normally do, but in a collaborative environment.

Hi Tess,

First, I had to chuckle a bit as I have found that when I am searching for something entirely different, I too, come upon new items; unrelated to my initial search as well.

Although this may be a good thing...as in the case with your recent find, on occasion, it gets me in a bit of a time management hot water. I will 'get lost' in something entirely different than what I set out to find and have to play 'catch up'! Ah, the lure of the web!

Anyway, I tested this resource with two computers and it seems that most of the features are still under construction as of this writing. However, when in full swing, it could be quite useful.

Should I wish to review a website with someone in real-time, this resource will make that possible and easy! This could be helpful to those who might be designing a site for a client or making comments on a client site already in place.

I'm registered so hopefully updates will be sent out to subscribers. This could prove interesting when the site is truly live.

Thank you!

Janine
