Hi All

I have a new client and as part of the tasks we will need to share files.

I was looking at Office Zilla has anyone used this? Or suggest a better program? Preferrably one that doesn't cost anything.

What about Google Docs? I just started using it but havent had to share it with anyone yet, so I am not sure about security measures yet. I do know it's free to a certain load...

There is also ClientSpot and Central Desktop. Both have free versions and as you grow you can purchase more applications to accommodate. You can allow the client access to collaborate on projects together. I think it depends on your individual needs and wants. Many VAs use various programs that "fit".

Other good ones to check out for collaboration and project management are Smartsheet at www.smartsheet.com and Basecamp at www.basecamphq.com/. I've used both of those as well as Clientspot. I liked Basecamp the best out of all of them for collaboration, tasking, files and messages. Clientspot is also good. Smartsheet take a bit more getting used to but does have the feature of just sending an email to the client for updates and feedback which eliminates the need for them to login into the system.

If you are just looking share files, you might try Box.net.

I use Google docs and calendar with 2 clients and also another free (up to 5GB) online system called Diino

I use it like a secure filing cabinet and share different 'drawers' with clients who can then access their own drawers but not any one elses.
