Hi there, I order business cards from them all the time. I recently ordered post cards and a car magnet...they were free( I just had to pay for shipping) Once you order from them they send you all kinds of products to try for free. So far so good with Vista print.. They actually host my website, I got my t-shirt, hat, stationary and some other things from them, so far so good. I will move to a higher quality of print work from them next time I order business cards. I just ordered my oversize postcards thorugh their free promotion. I was thinking of going with thier option for a mailing list within my zip code, but opted out. After I try this first attempt with the postcards and they go well, I may try ordering more and using their contact list for marketing to customers, I will let you know how it goes.. ~Capricia

I often wonder too if the networking aspect of marketing in this industry is more successful because we can sometimes be catering to the less computer literate clients, thus if we are buying email databases we might likely be targeting customers almost too computer literate, perhaps not our market? I think creating your own mailing list is definitely the best way to go. You can then guarantee that you're reaching exactly who you need to reach. I wouldn't use VistaPrint for your postcards though. SLPrintCenter.com is not only cheaper but also much better quality. Their postcards generated more sales than the ones we got from VistaPrint... by far

I've decided that I am not initially going to get a mailing list from VistaPrint. Although I haven't landed a client just yet - I have had great luck in networking myself and making contacts through various business networking sites. I've confident that will go a long way for me.

I think that I will prefer to go with my own mailing list. It's a control thing for me.
