Well done Rebecca sounds brilliant!

I definitely wouldn't put my rates in a brochure, potential clients would just run a mile, I always have a detailed conversation with them and then provide then with an estimate, sometimes it is only 5 hours work, if I say we charge $50 an hour they would not be interested, as soon as I say that would cost you $250 they are really suprised.

I have a very good quality colour laser printer so I print my brochures on it. My current on is on cream coloured legal paper so I fold it once then once again.

I don't put rates in my brochure.

The front cover is the emotional grabber, then when you open it, there's a blurb about why someone should use my services and what I can do for them and what programs I use on both the Mac and PC. When it is opened full, the inside provides three very good testimonials (half of the legal size) and the other half outlines how working with me provides a good return on investment with three scenarios. The back contains a call to action, to call me or visit my website to get a copy of my e-Book along with my contact information. I have received a lot of compliments on this brochure, so I think I've done something right.

I agree with Vicky, I don't think I will include my prices on the brochure due to the cost having them reprinted should I adjust my rates in the future.

I am glad that I found this topic. today I just started working on my brochures and you all made a good point not to include pricing on my brochures.

Jan and Dawn, I don't think posting our brochures will be that helpful for you. You have to sit down and decide how you want to present your business to potential clients and work from there. What works for me won't necessarily work for others and vice versa.

I agree Jan and Dawn about finding your own with your brochure. They should reflect you and your business philosphies. I actually have a few brochures that I use for the different groups I network to (local, global, niche). Each is somewhat different but reflects what I want to convey to that particular group. Good luck!

My brochures are purely informational - "small business taxes: information and deductions" and 'llc basics." I hand them out at networking meetings.
