For $9.99 I can offer clients 100 cards I just add my promotion on the back for an additional $2 like vista print does when you get free cards from them. It has really helped get my name out there as far as my graphic design goes.

Thank you, Nicole, for this resource...
I just ordered a sample pack from PS Print... I couldn't find recycled card stock for business cards at the vista print site a lot of people here recommend, so I was excited to see PS Print does offer a recycled card stock option.
I really do not want to print my own business cards, if I can avoid it. I think DIY, at-home printed, business cards often look "cheap" and "homemade"... that's not the image I want to put out there for my business.
I guess it's possible some DIY, at-home printed, business cards have "passed for professionally printed" and I was none the wiser... if I could be assured of having THAT GOOD of a print job, good enough to pass for professionally printed, then I'd be game to do it myself, at home.
But for 100 cards at $9.99 - at that price I say why hassle with an at-home print job? It's not worth the hassle.
My husband worked a corporate sales, straight-commission, independant agent, career for ten years and his business cards, even when ordered through his Fortune 500 company, often set us back $70 for 500 cards. Prices have gotten significantly better in the past 10-15 years, of course so has at-home printing technology.
