I am a big fan of Vista Print as well. I haven't used them for my new VA business but I have used them in the past for my employers.

Amanda, that is a very neat idea. I think I will try it!

I do all my own printing. Except for the letter head. I have a really good color printer and a b/w laser printer. When I do want things printed, I go to Kinkos. They always do a great job.

http://gotprint.net I don't think you can beat their prices, and their quality is great.

I print our brochures in house - for both my husbands business and mine. We do have very good color laser printers which is a must BUT the main reason we do it here is we are always "tweaking" the content. My husband especially likes to update his project photos so rather than having outdated brochures laying around, we print current versions and it works well for us. Janine Raj.

I ususally do things myself. I also find myself tweaking things from time to time and if I have too many printed then I have wasted my money on them.

I too have been happy with everything that I have received from Vista Print.

Don't use VistaPrint! Use SLPrintCenter.com... their prices for brochures are by far the cheapest around and I've just ordered brochures, business cards, and postcards from them. They were the best quality I've ever ordered, and they were quick and cheap.

I have used Staples and Kinkos for brochure and flyer printing. I also have used Vistacard to design brusiness cards, flyer and brochures. Their cost is reasonable. Usually I compare the cost between a printing service and vistaprint and go with what seems reaonable to get done timely and considering cost.

Let me correct what I said.. Don't use VistaPrint unless you're just placing an order for their free products. If you're ordering more and/or don't want their logo on your items, use SLPrintCenter.com

I print my own brochures and business cards. You can get a really nice laser printer for under 175.00 at Office Max plus save a little with their coupons. Join the office max news letter to receive coupons and specials.

Re: Printing brochures- In-house or printing company?
I got my business cards from VistaPrint.com - 250 for FREE and they didn't come with the logo on the back. I also just ordered 100 FREE postcards. The postcards are color on the front side and black/white on the back. I think they have the best deals and if you order from them once, you'll get email every week with amazing deals like the FREE 100 postcards. The email I just got this week is offering a FREE car window decal or magnet and FREE rubber stamps with your business name. Those are good deals! Of course you still have to pay shipping & handling, but that's not much. I paid a total of $5.22 (s/h) for the 250 color business cards I orderd and about $10 for the postcards ($7 s/h and I orderd 100 blank envelopes to go with the postcards and that cost an extra $3). Check 'em out.
