Car Signs - Virtual Assistant Forums

I know that I have seen in another thread on here that someone has used their car's license plate for advertisements. But I was wondering if anyone has had success with window decals or magnetic car signs. If so, could you steer me in the right direction on what has been successful and maybe a good place to get them from with a good price.

I have car magnets that I've used in the past. I know others on here have used them as well with good results. Someone from our Small Business Development Center told me that this is one of the most effective forms of advertising. She also mentioned though that it's best to put them on the back of your car rather than the sides to be the most effective. My car only had room on the sides, but I still got some inquiries from them.

I got mine from Vista Print last summer. I think I only paid about $20 for two of them (the smaller sized ones.) I don't usually get much from Vista Print, but these were a pretty good deal and they've stood up pretty well. One of them even survived a drive thru car wash.

I order mine through Vistaprint and display on the back of my minivan. I usually need to replace it about every 9 months.

That's funny, I was just posting a question about this in another forum. Does anyone else feel uneasy about this kind of thing? I think it would be a good idea, but maybe I'm too shy or something about the idea of putting it out there on my car.

It does seem though like it would produce results....

I just use my business name and website and business phone number. I don't give any personal information on my sign...strictly business!

I was just considering the same thing. The only thing I'm concerned about is people catching me when I'm extremely casual in appearance.
