I don't think it's ever too late to send a press release - so I'd say, go for it!
Your press release could highlight a new service you've started offering (or you could make an existing service sound new or updated), it could announce a partnership with a new client, an award or similar you've received. Or, focus on what's unique about what you do and/or who you work with and/or how you work.
Other possibilities: Has your practice 'gone green', brought on a new high-end software or service that will benefit your clients, or donated time to a cause?
