Re: Savvy Solutions Press Release
Hi Kirsten,
I think it is a good start. I think it would be a good idea for you to read other press releases and gain some pointers from them. For instance a press release needs to read like press and not like a sales ad.
This section is an example of just advertising “By offering virtual administrative and professional services, we are able to help small businesses reduce overall cost and manage their time more effectively” says Kirsten Cauley, owner of Savvy Business Solutions, “this allows them to focus on growing their business rather than dealing with the day-to-day details.” This is because you did not lead in with a question. Another example, again there is no question leading to this answer: “Our client driven culture allows us to be flexible enough to meet our clients’ needs even if it means customizing services to accommodate special projects”, says Cauley, “our client focus and flexibility are what makes our company unique in the virtual assistant industry.”
You want your press release to read like a news article and not an advertisement. There are some press releases here on the VAF that you can get some pointers from.
Good luck,
Andrea
