Some of you may have read about my frustration with one of the newspapers in my area not wanting to publish my press release because they said it was an advertisement although it focused on the profession instead of my own business. Well, I opened one of the other papers in my area today and was surprised to see that they had published my press release!!!! I was shocked!! Maybe now more people in my area will realize what we do!!! Thanks for all your support!

Great job, Angie! I didn't think it sounded like a sales pitch at all. It read more like an information article to me with just a very small plug from an actual VA. I can't believe the other paper wouldn't pick it up.

Congratulations! That was a wonderfully written article, and I would have to agree that it is an informational article. Perhaps the other paper doesn't print press releases. I know one of the local papers in my area will do press releases, but they send their own reporter out to interview. I'm looking forward to writing one for myself and contacting the papers in my area. I hope the press release has generated you at least some inquiries, if not more business. I'd love to hear how that worked out for you.
