Can anyone direct me to where I might find some instruction on how to write a press release? It looks like a set format, don't want to look like an amateur

You might also want to try this link:

It's an instant press release tool. You plug in your information and it will format it for you automatically.

Although I tried both links and they go to the same place...

...in the end. Definitely makes me feel better. The form almost seems idiot proof.

Just one small question. Once someone makes a press release, whom do I give it to? I am still wearing my "press release" training pants

Hi Brandi,

I googled this for you. It's a blog and she has a list of free places to submit your press release to. I haven't checked the links so I don't know if they work. But, it's a place to start.
