This is great, Brianna. I've been thinking more and more about getting started on my press release soon. Hubspot is a great place for information and tools. Has anyone tried this tool with their press release?
I tried it with mine. I got a 57 out of 100 at first but when I realized it was checking for the ### marks and the "About the Company" section, which I didn't include when I pasted it, I redid and got a whopping 62.
Apparently it took points off for not having links with anchored text but I didn't know if those worked when you submit press releases or not.
Hubspot is one of my favourite places. They archive their webinars and they had a fantastic webinar on Press Releases a few months ago. You can download all of their webinars including the PR here
They teach you the tricks of writing a PR to gain inbound traffic to your site.

Awesome!! Where has that been all my life? That is just priceless. Since I do press releases for clients too, I can use this as a selling tool. Hopefully at least.
Okay that is better than peanut butter. What I found I can do is take the release, make the changes and increase my stats. One thing that they said too was my website links were too low on the page. I never really thought about that before.
A 70 is pretty good. You should be proud of that one.

That is a pretty neat site! I just created my first client press release and I got a 91 out of 100 so I guess I did pretty good for my first write up for a client. Will have to insert mine soon and see what I get for my own press release!!
