Default Please read and offer any suggestions!
Hello! I wrote this to send out to a variety of places to announce the business and hopefully gain some new clients or at least raise awareness. Can you please look over it and offer any suggestions that you may have? I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you!

Amber,

I think this is great however I would make it sound like you are talking directly to the person reading it and not so much like a press release or an article. I think you will grab more attention.

You should also be directing towards what your company does and what you can do for them and not about the industry. Add something different that makes you out of the ordinary and catches their eye.

I hope this helps

Amber - You write well, but if you want this to be a successful press release, remember that it has to be news, not advertising. I agree with Serena, that you could make it more like talking directly to someone. But more to the point, you need to make it into a story. A news story. As opposed to ad copy. This would require that you look very closely at your business in terms of how it benefits your clients, and what is its uniqueness.
Some may disagree with my opinions here. I know writing and submitting press releases is a big deal. I suspect there are much easier ways to get yourself out there, though.

Hold on a second is this a press release or a letter to prospect clients? Sorry i miss understood if it is a press release and change my answer above..lol

A press release should be an announcment not a advertisment so the pr directories and firms may decline it if you are attempting to sell yourself as an advertisment if you know what I mean.

So let us know if this is a press release or a sales letter to be send out to prospects.

Sorry if I mixed things up...

I would ask Tammi (She is on the forums here) from the Write Associate for her input she is a great writer and editor. I am sure there are many awesome writers and editors on here. I am not one of them..lol

I agree that it's well done, but a long read. Also, while I understand your wanting to address the fear factor, I think it adds an unnecessary negative vibe.
