Default How to...Press Releases
Hello, I have not had a chance to review many of the posts in this section but I though I would share some things I recently learned. Please post if you have had success with another direction or how these tactics have worked for you

Here's a 1,2,3...
1. create your article
2. Publish to relevant websites
3. include relevant backlinks to your website

Articles should
  • be 300-500 words in you area of "expertise"
  • provide value to a potential client
  • be keyword specific
  • ideally write 3-5 a day and post on various topics...

Then submit to sites like ones listed below for distribution...
Tip: do not put your website in the article, rather sign off with your signature and website.

This is a tip that I have not looked too much into but was given to me... would love some feed back on this one especially...

you can search a topic with PLR attached to the end of it. This stand for Private Label Rights which are available to be used by others. I would suggest reviewing, making sure it meets your standards and changing some of it.
PLR are the rights assigned to a set of articles or website where you have the legal right to modify the content of the articles and claim the content as your own. Most people resell the articles or use them "as is" on their own website. You can do just about anything you'd like with PLR articles.

Hope this helps some...

I'd be interested to know the reasoning behind this suggestion you rec'd - did the person who said this elaborate at all as to why?

I've always believed that providing linked calls to action (tastefully drafted - not necessarily the straight URL to the site, that is) fairly early in ANY piece online is a key component... so find that bit of advice very curious....
