Hi everyone,

I found this great resource which lists the top 50 press release submission sites. Some are free, some are paid, but it lists all that information so you'll know before you spend the time signing up for memberships at each site. Nothing irks me more than when I take the time to become a member THEN I'm told I have to pay for something I thought was free.

Anyway, hope this is useful.

I will have to do some digging I purchased an article writing pack at one time that was awesome all the way around for my business. Not only did it give great tips but also great places to submit PR and articles.

I will have a dig through these lists sometime this weekend. Before I do that though, can anyone let me know if any of these sites are UK based? I'm know a VA is virtual and so in theory I can work for anyone anywhere - BUT - Rates of Exchange do apply and since I am in the UK (and the £ is still a stronger currency than most - at least for now!), I'm guessing that most of my clients will be UK based, and therefore it will probably be better to release to UK PR sites.

Any thoughts?

I hear you on paid vs. free. I get so upset when I submit the entire release, get to the end and then they don't let me post it until I pay for their "free service." Duh, where's the free in that.

I'm not sure on the UK -- have you tried doing an Google or Alexa search for UK Free Press release services?

BTW, I've updated my listing now of free and paid ones. I think I have about 100 now. I'd be happy to send it to anyone if they email me.
